I'm a self-taught artist living in Lincoln, Nebraska. I'm a wife, mom, marathon runner, lifelong music lover, and former hairstylist and brewery owner. Every chapter of my life has shaped the artist I am today.

My life has been full of unexpected turns, incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, and more than a few reinventions. Somewhere along the way, I discovered that painting wasn't just something I loved—it was how I processed the world around me.

Music has always fueled my life in more ways than one. It keeps my pace when I run, sets the tone for my day, comforts me when I’m sad and becomes my creative partner in the art studio.

When I paint a musician, I spend hours listening to their music. I want to understand the person behind the photographs—the energy they carried, the stories they told, the emotions they felt while creating the songs.

My abstract paintings begin with a feeling. Sometimes they're born from joy, sometimes from grief, and often from the quiet moments in between. I don't always know where they're going when I begin... and I think that's a lot like life. For my abstracts, the music isn't just background noise—it's a collaborator. The emotion in each song influences every layer, texture, and color until the painting tells its own story.

I don't believe art should feel intimidating.

You don't need to know art history or understand technique to connect with a painting. If a piece I create makes you stop, think of someone, smile, or simply feel something, then it's done exactly what I hoped it would.

Life has taught me that beauty isn’t found in perfection. It’s found in resilience, kindness, creativity, and the stories that shape us.

Welcome to my world.
