For me, After the Rain is about what comes after the storm. Not necessarily the storm itself, but that quiet shift when everything feels washed clean and the light begins to return. There’s something hopeful about that moment—the air feels different, colors seem brighter, and for a little while the world feels completely renewed. I wanted this painting to hold onto that feeling.
